Sally D. Stabb, Ph.D.
Fear Free Certified Professional
CTC in Prgress
Sally has lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 30 years, after moving around the country for her education. She has both a B.A. and an M.Ed. from Penn State, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas.

After 35 years in academics and training hundreds of psychotherapists, she’s now pursuing a Certificate of Training and Counseling (CTC) with the Academy of Dog Trainers.
An avid dog lover from an early age, this new direction brings her full circle from childhood obedience classes with her first Wire Fox Terrier to her current crew – Bean the Jack Russell and (Crazy) Daizy, a Smooth Fox Terrier. Sally embraces her terrier bias but enjoys working with all kinds of dogs. She has also volunteered at the no-kill animal shelter in Carrollton, Operation Kindness. At Wiggle Butt Academy, Sally currently trains basic manners and is beginning work with anxious/reactive dogs.

Sally has a unique role alongside the Wiggle Butt Academy, bringing her people expertise and compassion to the folks on the front lines of person-dog interactions. If you are interested in her services to the human communities of owners distressed by their difficult dogs, dog trainers, and/or pet professionals, please check back see her personal website, link coming soon.

Sally values collaborative approaches to working with others, both human and canine, as well as appreciating the ongoing education needed to help both dogs and people live more joyful, less stressful lives together.
